During the United Nations Simulation in The Hague, the THIMUN World Cartoon exhibition took place, which I designed. Cartoons from different categories such as environment, politics, conflicts, culture and identity were sent in by students and well-known cartoonist. A jury chaired by the Dutch cartoonist Tjeerd Royaards awarded prizes for the best cartoons submitted by students.
The THIMUN congress is a five-day United Nations Simulation for secondary school students from many countries around the world. This congress takes place at the end of January each year in the World Forum in The Hague. Approximately 3500 secondary school students from more than 100 different countries will attend this congress.
